What You’ll Need
Large Ice Cubes
1 cup half and half cream
1/2 cup Kosher salt
2 tbls. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 pint-size ziplock bag
1 gallon-size ziplock bag
Your favorite ice cream flavors, berries, etc. and toppings, sprinkles, etc.
One Serving
Combine half and half cream, vanilla extract and sugar in the pint-size bag. Seal the bag tightly to avoid leakage. Fill large zip lock bag with ice cubes (fill bag half full) and sprinkle salt over the ice cubes.
The pint-size bag ,with all ingredients, is then put into the bag of ice and salt. Seal the large ziplock bag. Use two bags if you experience leakage.
Shake the bag for 5-10 minutes until the ice cream mixture begins to harden. Check small bag for consistency of the ice cream. When you reach the desired consistency , remove the small bag from the bag of ice.
Add any berries, chocolate chips, mint chips, etc. Scoop ice cream into a bowl and add toppings.
