Most of us have had a friend who, regardless of their efforts, simply can not keep plants alive for very long. Keep reading, for here is the perfect gift for your plant less friend. It is called an air plant. Air plants do not require soil. They need very little water. And they can even survive simply hung up in the air. However, the wide selection of miniature ornament pots and planters add to the attractiveness and uniqueness of these miniature biological wonders.
An air plant is of the tropical variety called epiphytes. These plants actually have scales on their leaves. Unbelievably, air plants grow tiny scales called trichomes on their leaves that absorb water and nutrients directly from the air. An online search will educate you about these incredible little wonders, the wide variety available, and the many ways they can add a little enchantment to you or your friend’s home.
